South Africa Home Series 2026-27 Set to Light Up the Cricket Calendar
The CSA has unveiled the South Africa Home Series 2026-27 have revealed for the men’s senior team, where they will take on Australia, Bangladesh and England.
They begin the home season with a multi-format series against Australia, which begins with a three-match ODI series from September 24-30.
The cricketing nations squared off in the WTC 2023-25 finals – South Africa and Australia, will lock horns in the three-test series.
South Africa claimed the WTC 2023-25 title in June when they defeated Australia by five wickets in the summit clash at Lord’s.
Bangladesh will be touring South Africa for an all-format series, which includes two tests, three ODIs and three T20Is.
Meanwhile, South Africa will be facing England in the multi-format tour. The teams will comprises in three tests, thee ODIs with the first test to be played on December 17.

Their home season will conclude with a three-match ODI series against England, beginning on January 10. However, the schedules conflicts forced the rescheduling the T20I series against England to a ‘later date’.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming three strong cricketing nations in Australia, Bangladesh and England,” CSA Chief Executive Officer Pholetsi Moseki said.
“Next season carries significant importance for both our Test and ODI teams. We have made a promising start to the new World Test Championship cycle, including a hard-fought 1-1 series draw against Pakistan and an impressive 2-0 victory over India, and it is important that we continue to build on that momentum and strengthen our position on the WTC table.
“On the white-ball front, our focus remains firmly on building towards hosting the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2027. Every ODI series from here forms part of our preparation for that global event, not only as proud hosts, but as a team determined to compete strongly on home soil.”
