Indian equity benchmarks traded higher in midday deals on February 23, with frontline indices holding steady gains. As of 12 PM IST, the Nifty was at 25,667.15, up 95.90 points or 0.38%. The Sensex stood at 83,175.03, gaining 360.32 points or 0.44%. Bank Nifty traded at 61,194.05, up 22.05 points or 0.04%, while Midcap Nifty was at 13,478.00, higher by 2.00 points or 0.01%.

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone was the top performer among Nifty stocks, trading at ₹1,546.9, up 2.3% at midday.

Kotak Mahindra Bank

Kotak Mahindra Bank gained 2.2% to trade at ₹430.5.

HDFC Life Insurance

HDFC Life Insurance rose 2.0%, quoting at ₹743.5.

Power Grid Corporation of India

Power Grid Corporation of India advanced 1.4% to ₹303.2.

SBI Life Insurance Company

SBI Life Insurance Company was up 1.4%, trading at ₹2,109.1.

Tata Consumer Products

Tata Consumer Products climbed 1.4% to ₹1,172.3.

Axis Bank

Axis Bank gained 1.4%, trading at ₹1,387.0.

Eicher Motors
