BJP has trashed education, let us all together save education and build the future of our children: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow. A big case of selling children’s free books at throwaway prices has come to light in the Basic Education Department of Bahraich District of UP. Sharing its video, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav wrote that BJP has ruined education.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP government had earlier conspired to close 27,000 government schools in Uttar Pradesh in the name of merger and now the anti-education BJP government in the Rajya Sabha has admitted that 18,727 government schools have been closed in the last 5 years of BJP rule. This is a big conspiracy against the future of our country. Do the BJP members and their allies want that the children of the rich should study but not the exploited and deprived children of the PDA society and that the children of the PDA society should remain as laborers.

He said that BJP’s anti-education thinking is not only causing books to be distributed, it is getting government schools closed. BJP people know that education brings awareness and scientific consciousness among the people which will help in uprooting the conservative, orthodox, narrow thinking and narrow viewpoint of BJP. That is why BJP people are against education and knowledge and science and their colleagues want to mold children according to their very narrow mindset and monochromatic negative ideology.

Taking away the right to education from children is a social crime of the BJP. Due to snatching of government education, the people of PDA community will suffer the most because along with education, children will also not get mid-day meal for nutrition, which will have a negative impact on the mental-physical development of children.

We believe that the next election will be historic when the issue of education will become a decisive issue to defeat and remove BJP because even the poorest of the poor families and especially every mother wants to educate her child. This time only women will defeat BJP. BJP will pretend to put some money in the accounts, but the word has spread to every village, street and locality that if government schools are closed, then looting of private schools will start and more money will be spent on children’s education than what comes into the account. Now people have understood that BJP collects more than what it gives by increasing the prices of goods and by increasing the prices of electricity-water bills, gas-diesel-petrol-cylinder, mobile recharge, rail-bus fares, toll-parking and other taxes.

If government education ends, people will not be able to educate their children due to inflation and joblessness, and even those who want to teach in any way, their entire earnings will be spent on the expenses of huge fees of private schools, uniform-dress, book-copy-stationery, bag-bottle-tiffin, rickshaw-bus, project-assignment, school function-picnic.

Apart from this, even in the schools that are running, BJP does not want to allow the education work to continue and engages the teachers in other work instead of studies. This lowers the morale of true teachers because they feel that they are not able to fulfill their duty of teaching. Due to this, the relationship between teacher-student and parent has also been badly affected. Due to the anti-education policies of the BJP government, the respect and honor of education teachers has been hurt in the society. That is why there is deep anger and dissatisfaction against BJP in the teacher community. One of the main reasons for BJP’s defeat in the next elections will be the anger against BJP by teachers, Shiksha Mitras, school employees, parents of children who are deprived of education and other members of their families.

It seems that the symbolic movement of ‘PDA Pathshala’ will have to be transformed into a real movement, only then the generations of the exploited-deprived society will be able to study and grow further. Let us all together save education, build the future of our children!
