America is going to launch a major attack on Iran! Government of India issued advisory
Amidst the rapidly changing situation in Iran and fears of possible US military action, the Indian government has issued a new advisory for its citizens. The Indian Embassy in Tehran has advised all Indians, including students, pilgrims, businessmen and tourists, to leave Iran by any means including available commercial flights.
This advisory has come at a time when on one hand talks are going on between America and Iran regarding the nuclear deal, while on the other hand fresh anti-government protests have erupted in many parts of the country. The increasing military gathering and internal unrest have made the situation more sensitive.
What new advisory has been issued by the Indian Embassy?
The Indian Mission in Tehran has reiterated the new warning in the context of the earlier advisory issued on 5 January 2026. The latest advisory said that in continuation of the advisory issued by the Government of India on January 5, 2026 and in view of the changing situation in Iran, Indian nationals currently present in Iran – students, pilgrims, businessmen and tourists – are advised to leave Iran through available means of transport, including commercial flights. The Embassy has appealed to Indian citizens and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) to stay away from the protest areas, keep an eye on local media and contact the Embassy if necessary.
Is America preparing military action on Iran?
According to reports, America has increased its military presence in the Middle East around Iran. The deployment of advanced frigates, fighter aircraft and coordination units is being described as the largest military gathering in recent decades. President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned Tehran that limited military action is possible if diplomatic efforts fail. However, talks between Washington and Tehran regarding the nuclear deal are ongoing and the next round is proposed in Geneva.
What is Iran’s reaction?
Iran has rejected any kind of pressure, saying that it is ready for any possible situation, but considers diplomacy as the primary way. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said he was looking forward to meeting US Ambassador Steve Witkoff in Geneva and that there remained “good chances” of a solution to the nuclear issue. Washington is currently waiting for the framework proposed by Tehran, which may be presented in the coming days.
Why did fresh protests erupt in Iran?
According to witnesses and reports, university students protested in several cities, including Tehran and Mashhad. The demonstrations took place during events organized in memory of those who were killed in the crackdown on nationwide protests nearly six weeks ago. Clashes also took place at some places between government supporters and opponents. The protesters raised slogans against the leadership.
Had such demonstrations taken place before?
Protests in early January were harshly suppressed under the administration of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. During that time, there were reports of deaths of many protesters and a large number of arrests. The latest developments indicate that political instability and external pressure are increasing together in Iran.
