Dr. Atul Malikram honored for his work on issues of tribal society

Political strategist Dr. Atul Malikram was honored for his work related to the upliftment and welfare of the tribal society in a program organized by the Tribal Social Service Committee at the historic Gandhi Hall, Indore. He was presented a memento during the ceremony. Representatives of various social organizations, public representatives and a large number of city residents were present in the program.

The organizing committee said that Dr. Malikram has been active for a long time in efforts related to strengthening the social, educational and political participation of the tribal and backward class society. He has worked towards increasing the participation of communities through the spread of education, social awareness and policy dialogue. Keeping this contribution in mind, he was given this honour.

During the felicitation ceremony, Dr. Malikram paid tribute to Lord Birsa Munda and expressed his gratitude to the organizing board. He said that such honors further increase the responsibilities. According to him, the tribal society has always been the guardian of its culture along with water, forest and land, and today there is a need that sensitive and committed people stand with them.

He also said that he will remain committed to doing whatever is possible in the interest of the tribal society in future also. During the program, the speakers stressed the need for social empowerment of the tribal society, expansion of education and equal opportunities. He said that collective efforts are necessary for the overall development of the society and people working at the grassroots level should be encouraged and recognized. According to the organizers, this type of honor programs play an important role in highlighting the works related to social concerns and giving them public recognition.
