In this second season, adapted from the second of George R.R.’s novellas, it takes place 1–2 years after last season’s finale.
In the Reach region of Westeros, where severe drought has caused food and water shortages, Dunk and Egg find themselves caught up in a feud between the proud, aging knight Ser Eustace Osgrey and Lady Rohanne Webber (who is both dangerous and mysterious).
As before, the story is primarily told through Dunk’s point of view; it remains character-driven with an honest and goal-oriented approach to plot development while at the same time dealing with themes related to honour, survival and power.
