New Delhi. A SpiceJet plane going from Delhi to Leh suffered a technical fault in its engine just after take off due to which 150 passengers on board the plane got scared. The pilot turned the plane back towards Delhi airport and made an emergency landing. As soon as the plane landed, everyone heaved a sigh of relief. All the passengers on board the plane are completely safe. The engine of the aircraft is being checked by the maintenance team. The passengers on board the aircraft are currently stopped at the airport and arrangements are being made for alternative aircraft to take them to their destination.
SpiceJet Airlines has informed that flight number SG-121 had taken off for Leh from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday morning. The pilot suspected a technical fault in the plane. As soon as the pilot informed the air traffic control, it was decided to take the plane to Delhi. To give priority to the landing of this aircraft, an emergency was declared at Delhi Airport and medical and fire services were also put on alert mode. However, the pilot skillfully landed the plane without any problem.

Let us tell you that earlier on January 30, an Indigo Airlines plane coming from Kuwait to Delhi received a bomb threat. Inside the flight, a tissue paper containing a bomb threat and hijacking of the plane was written. After this, emergency landing of that plane was made in Ahmedabad. The passengers’ luggage was also checked. Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad also reached the spot and investigated but nothing suspicious was found. On February 14, a similar threatening chit was received in a flight flying from Kolkata to Shillong.
