How does StopNCII.org work?
To use this tool, you must first visit the StopNCII.org website. After this you have to click on the Create Case option that appears on the screen. Here users can select their original photos or videos from their device. The website will then create a digital fingerprint of that content. These fingerprints are shared with different online platforms. If the photos and videos you upload are posted on a website, the online platforms recognize this and block or remove the relevant photos or videos. Importantly in this your original image is not uploaded on the website. Only a digital code is generated of the photo or video, which maintains privacy.
