iQOO 15R 5G with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and 6.5K Ice Core VC cooling system launched in India

iQOO 15R 5G launched in India : Smartphone brand iQOO has finally introduced its brand new iQOO 15R 5G smartphone in the Indian market. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC (3.5Mn+ AnTuTu score), paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It has a dedicated network enhancement chip and a Q2 super computing chip.

The iQOO 15R 5G features a 6.59-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED iCare display that delivers 5000 nits local peak brightness and 3200Hz instant touch sampling rate. It has Eye Protection Mode 2.0 which offers features like – Sleep Mode for users that intelligently adjusts the color temperature to reduce disruption of melatonin production at night, 1 nit sleep screen that remains clear even at very low brightness, color temperature range for dry eye comfort, and motion prompts that use dynamic visual cues to reduce irritation by up to 87% Are. The display comes with HDR10+ support and an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor.

The new iQoo smartphone comes with a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main camera with OIS support and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera at the back, while there is a 32MP selfie camera (90-degree wide-angle support). It will have features like NICE camera algorithm, Super Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Multifocal Portrait, Upgraded Live Photo, while the smartphone will support 4K 60fps video recording with OIS. The device features a 6.5K Ice Core VC cooling system, a 7600 mAh battery and supports 100W Flash Charge and Advanced Bypass Charging. The smartphone can be charged up to 50% in 33 minutes. It comes with IP68 and IP69 rating, Bluetooth 6.0, WiFi 7, NFC and IR blaster. It is 7.90 mm thin.

With Origin OS 6, users will get to see features like one-tap transfer, Private Space, and Origin Island on both Android and iOS. Cross-device connectivity features include cross-device file transfer, screen mirroring, and remote PC access. The smartphone will have AI features like AI Four Seasons, AI Magic Move, AI UHD, AI Erase, AI Reflection Erase, AI Caption and AI Image Expander. It is claimed to get 4 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. Gaming Features – Manual video recording, 144fps game frame interpolation, hardware-level game eye protection, Gaming HyperSense audio, and ultra-stable frame rates. It is claimed that it will provide smooth, reliable experience for 5 years.
