He was coming from his home to the bus stop by bike in the morning. Meanwhile, two criminals riding a bike chased him and shot him in front of the DIG office. The bullet hit his back. After being shot, he fell on the road screaming along with his bike. People nearby heard their voices and reached the spot. Meanwhile, the criminals quickly ran away after committing the incident.

After this accident, people picked him up and took him to Phulo Jhano Medical College Hospital for treatment. Where seeing his serious condition, the doctors referred him to Asansol.
