CM Yogi on Singapore tour, Rs 4458 crore approved for Jewar Airport!
Under this agreement, the company will set up two major projects at Noida International Airport in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar. First, a state-of-the-art cargo complex and second, a world-class air catering kitchen. The company will invest Rs 4,458 crore on these two projects.
As per the MoU, SATS Limited will construct a state-of-the-art cargo complex at the Jewar Airport complex. This cargo complex will become a major hub for air freight and logistics not only for Uttar Pradesh, but for the entire North India.
Under the second major investment of the MoU, a state-of-the-art world-class air catering kitchen will be established at Noida International Airport itself. This kitchen will provide high quality food to the flights operating from Noida International Airport.
The special thing is that the food prepared here will not be limited to Jewar Airport only, but it will also be supplied to various airports across North India. This will strengthen the food processing and supply chain network in the region and create thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities.
The aim of the Chief Minister’s visit to Singapore is to connect global investors with the possibilities of Uttar Pradesh. This MoU signed on the second day is being considered a big achievement for the aviation, logistics and service sectors of the state.
With the operationalization of Jewar International Airport, this cargo complex and air catering facility will give a new direction to the economic scenario of North India and establish the state in a stronger position on the international map.
