CM Yogi’s big statement on Singapore visit. On the second day of his visit to Singapore, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made an important statement, in which he said that he had positive and productive talks with the top leadership in Singapore, including the Deputy Prime Minister, Home Minister and Energy Minister. Apart from this, he also held important meetings with the Chairman and CEOs of the world’s leading fintech and investment companies.
CM Yogi said that after the talks in Singapore, there has been a “360 degree change” in the perception of global investors about Uttar Pradesh. He said that so far the state has received investment proposals worth about ₹ 1 lakh crore, while investment agreements (MoUs) worth more than ₹ 60 thousand crore have also been signed.
Preparation to make Jewar Airport a global MRO hub
The Chief Minister specifically mentioned the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector, saying that currently aircraft from all over the world come to Singapore for MRO services. But in future, similar world class facilities will be developed at Jewar International Airport in Uttar Pradesh. This step will not only give a new direction to the aviation sector of UP, but will also strengthen India’s aviation services at the global level.
Important steps towards skill development
The Chief Minister also visited the world-class ITE Skill Development Center in Singapore and said that modern skill development institutes will be established in Uttar Pradesh on the same model. With this, the youth of the state will be able to get global level training, which will help in connecting them with better employment opportunities.
Valuable Investments and Agreements
Chief Minister Yogi said that the investment agreements and partnerships signed in Singapore will prove to be a milestone towards the goal of making Uttar Pradesh a 1 trillion dollar economy. This journey is being considered very important for Uttar Pradesh in terms of investment, skill development and aviation infrastructure.
