Mumbai: Preparations for the wedding of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are going on in full swing. The couple, who is getting married in December 2026, has started their pre-wedding celebrations in Udaipur. On this occasion they have also organized a unique event – ’Virosh Premier League’, which is an entertaining cricket match. Rashmika and Vijay are going to get married on 26 February 2026 at Ammentos by ITC Hotels in Udaipur. This hotel is situated amidst the Aravalli hills, where there is natural view and an atmosphere of peace.
Cricket match organized before marriage
The couple has named their wedding ‘The Wedding of Virosh’, which is a combination of their names Vijay and Rashmika. On Tuesday, the second day of the wedding, they hosted a ‘Virosh Premier League’ cricket match with family and friends. This match was very fun, where Rashmika and Vijay played against each other. Both of them shared some glimpses of this special moment on their Instagram stories.
A special custom bat was also displayed on the occasion, which is made of cream colored wood. It has ‘VIROSH’ and the wedding date 26.02.26 inscribed on it. Additionally, there was also a decorative box with ‘VIROSH PREMIER LEAGUE’ written on it and a graphic of a red cricket ball. Two smaller triangular flags – one brown and the other beige – also followed the same theme with ‘VIROSH PREMIER LEAGUE’ printed on them. There was also a white medal, with the date 26.02.26 engraved on the ribbon. All these items were decorated on the grass, which was making the atmosphere of the match even more special.
Pool Party and Pre-Wedding Dinner with Family
On the first day of the wedding, i.e. Monday, a pool party and an intimate pre-wedding dinner with the family was organized. The dinner was Japanese themed, with tables decorated with beautiful flowers and a special menu. The couple had made the official announcement of their wedding on Sunday, in which they told that there will be a small and intimate ceremony on February 26 with the blessings of the family. He also thanked the fans for their love. The pair made their debut with the film ‘Geeta Govindam’, and since then fans are crazy about their pairing. Now the discussion about their marriage is spread everywhere. Hotels in Udaipur have already been booked and the atmosphere of celebration is ready.
