Foundation stone of ITI worth Rs 24.50 crore laid in Sardulgarh, CM Mann said – change will come through education and health

Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann laid the foundation stone of Government ITI at Sardulgarh. This institute will provide skill based training to 240 students every year. The Chief Minister said that the state government is paying special attention to education, health and basic facilities so that the youth can get better opportunities in their own areas.

What is the specialty of this ITI?

In this ITI, to be built at a cost of about Rs 24.50 crore, modern trades like Electrician, Mechanic Electric Vehicle, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Industrial Robotics, Digital Manufacturing and CNC Machining will be taught. The Panchayat of village Fatehgarh Sahnewali has given five acres of land free of cost for this. The Chief Minister said that with this the rural youth will get technical education near their homes.

The Chief Minister said that so far 118 schools of eminence have been opened in the state. Teachers have also been sent abroad for training. He says that the aim of the government is that every child should get good and modern education.

881 common man clinics opened

To strengthen health facilities, 881 Aam Aadmi Clinics have been opened in the state. Free medicines and testing facilities are available in these clinics. A new Aam Aadmi Clinic will be built in Sardulgarh at a cost of Rs 39 lakh and a Health and Wellness Center will be built at a cost of Rs 55 lakh. Besides, it was also announced to expand the government hospital to 100 beds.

Efforts to improve agriculture sector also

Efforts have also been made to improve the agricultural sector. According to the government, now 68 percent canal water is being used for irrigation. Thousands of kilometers long drains have been repaired so that farmers can get water till the tail. Apart from this, 40 lakh families will be given free ration kits under ‘Meri Rasoi Yojana’. Each kit will include pulses, sugar, salt, turmeric and mustard oil. Wheat will be given separately.

Senior leader Manish Sisodia and Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains were also present in the program. The leaders said that the government is working on the politics of honesty and development.
