Three powerful symbols in the new logo

The team said that the new logo combines three important things – Garuda, crown and elephant. These three symbols reflect the sentiments of Lucknow and UP.

  • Garuda: Symbol of courage. It shows the courage to face challenges and never back down. The team believes that no dream is bigger than playing together.
  • Crown: A symbol of pride and responsibility. The team comes on the field in every match with the expectations of lakhs of fans. Wearing this jersey is an honor that has to be earned every day.
  • Elephant: Symbol of strength, intelligence, patience and unity. This shows the unwavering loyalty of the fans, which does not waver with one victory or defeat, but supports them strongly every season.

Statement of owner Shashwat Goenka

Shashwat Goenka, owner of LSG and vice chairman of RPSG Group, said, "This new logo is very emotional for us. The people of Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh wholeheartedly adopted the Super Giants from the very first day.

This logo is a symbol of that love and trust. The Garuda shows our desire to reach the heights, the crown is the pride you have given us, and the elephant shows the strength and loyalty of this realm."

Team’s IPL journey

LSG made its debut in IPL in 2022. No title has been won yet. Reached the playoffs in 2022 and 2023, but could not progress beyond the league stage in the last two seasons. The new logo signals a new beginning for the team. Fans are very excited with this change and are hoping that the team will perform better in IPL 2026.
