Bhagalpur: On NH-31, laborers traveling in Jugaad vehicle between Dayalpur and Bagri overbridge of Jhandapur police station area were hit by a bus. After this, the auto also overturned after colliding with the workers’ car. Then the truck coming from behind crushed the workers. In this accident, 6 people died on the spot.

Local people informed the police about the incident. Police have reached the spot and are doing relief and rescue work. It is being told that all the laborers were residents of Sameli Katihar. At the same time, one of the dead children was a resident of Mansi in Khagaria district. Other details in this regard are awaited. A speeding truck hit a pickup van on NH 31 near Bagdi bridge in Jhandapur police station area. After this collision, the pickup went out of control and collided with an e-rickshaw and a bus going on the other side. 6 people died in this accident. While 4 died on the spot, 2 people died later.

Tragic death of 6 people: As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and took all the injured to CHC located in Bihpur, from where they were referred to Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical Hospital. It is being told that all four traveling on the e-rickshaw died, while two others died while being taken for treatment.

A woman and a child were also among the dead: The bodies have been sent to Mayaganj Hospital in Bhagalpur for postmortem. Three of the dead are said to be residents of Sameli of Katihar and one of Mansi of Khagaria. The other two are being identified. The dead include a woman, a child and 4 labourers. All of them were returning after work from the brick kiln when they became victims of the accident.
