CM Yogi on Singapore tour, claims investment proposal of ₹1 lakh crore

Up news: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a tour of Singapore and Japan these days. In Singapore he met many industry representatives. The Chief Minister said that this visit is being done with the aim of making the state a 1 trillion dollar economy by 2029–30. CM Yogi said that a big delegation has also come with him, which is discussing the possibilities in different sectors with investors. He said that in the last 9 years, work has been done in infrastructure, logistics, service and welfare sectors in Uttar Pradesh, the effect of which is now visible.

“Uttar Pradesh is safe for investment”

The Chief Minister said that law and order has improved in the state and the environment has been made favorable for investors. According to him, the investment coming to Uttar Pradesh is safe and there is a lot of development potential here. Referring to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that India is rapidly moving towards becoming a big economy and Uttar Pradesh is also working in the same direction.

Investment proposal of ₹1 lakh crore

According to CM Yogi, investment proposals worth about ₹ 1 lakh crore have been received so far in Singapore. Of these, MoUs worth approximately ₹ 60 thousand crores have been signed with the ‘Invest UP’ team. Talks are still ongoing with other industry groups. He said that these proposals will prove to be an important step towards the goal of making the state a 1 trillion dollar economy. The Chief Minister claims that Uttar Pradesh is now moving ahead with technology and trust and is playing the role of ‘growth engine’ in the country’s economy.
