PM Modi on two-day visit to Israel from today, there will be extensive discussion on strategic partnership

New Delhi, 24 February. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Israel on Wednesday on a two-day state visit at the invitation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This will be PM Modi’s second visit to Israel.

Review of progress of strategic partnership

During the visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The two leaders will review the progress made in the India-Israel strategic partnership and discuss new opportunities for cooperation in various fields including science and technology, innovation, defense and security, agriculture, water management, trade and economy.

Discussion on regional and global issues

The two leaders are also expected to exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest. This meeting is considered important towards further strengthening bilateral relations.

PM Modi will also meet Isaac Herzog during his visit. During this, various dimensions of cooperation between the two countries will be discussed.
