Haryana: Income Tax Department raid in Hisar, Haryana, know the whole matter

Haryana News: The Income Tax Department took major action early in the morning at the residence and hospitals of reputed doctor Umesh Kalra in Hisar, Haryana. Income Tax teams reached his house in Sector-13 at around 6 am in the morning and also started the survey simultaneously in Sarvesh Hospital and Sarvodaya Hospital. No member was allowed to leave the premises during the action.

According to sources Income Tax Department Information was received that a big transaction worth crores of rupees was to be made by the doctor in the coming days. His financial accounts were also being monitored by the department. It is being told that preparations were going on to sell Sarvodaya Hospital and the deal was finalized for around Rs 107 crore. It was about to be registered recently.

Delay in registration due to NOC stuck

According to the information, the registry process of the hospital was getting delayed due to non-receipt of NOC. Objections were lodged regarding the area of ​​the hospital. Apart from this, there is also talk of the doctor investing in a project on the National Highway, due to which he was on the radar of the department. Sources also say that apart from Dr. Kalra, some other doctors are also under the scanner of the Income Tax Department.

Commercial vehicles parked outside the house

During the action, 4 to 5 commercial vehicles with Haryana number were seen parked outside the doctor’s residence. It is being told that initially the team had reached the wrong address, later after finding the correct location, action was started. It is noteworthy that Dr. Kalra has not even got a name plate installed outside his house.
