Trump claims: America destroyed Iran’s nuclear program

US President Donald Trump, while addressing Congress, announced that the United States has completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear weapons program through ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’. In this bold military action, American forces ended the decades-old threat by attacking Iranian soil.

Trump said it has been America’s long-standing policy that the world’s largest sponsor of terrorism should not get nuclear weapons. He gave priority to diplomacy, but gave a clear warning that such permission would never be given. This success is integral to his national security doctrine of ‘peace through power’, which has included a record investment of one trillion dollars in the armed forces this year.

Praising NATO allies, Trump said that they have now agreed to spend 5 percent of GDP on defense, which is much more than the earlier target of 2 percent.

Looking to Latin America, he claimed the complete defeat of enemies in Venezuela, the end of Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorial regime and his arraignment in a US court. New President Delsey Rodriguez promised to ensure economic prosperity.

Taking a tough stance against drugs, Trump has designated cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and branded illegal fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction. The new campaign has almost stopped its supply through land and sea routes.

Taking credit for ending eight wars in his first 10 months, Trump mentioned conflicts like Cambodia-Thailand, Pakistan-India, Kosovo-Serbia, Israel-Iran. Efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine dispute are ongoing.
