Donald Trump’s new claim on Operation Sindoor – ‘If I had not been there, 3.5 crore people of Pakistan would have been killed’
Washington, February 25. US President Donald Trump, while reiterating his claim of stopping eight wars including nuclear war between India and Pakistan, has made a shocking revelation that he had saved the lives of 3.5 crore people by stopping India’s Operation Sindoor. Trump made this claim on Wednesday during his first ‘State of the Union address’ of his second term.
Donald Trump claimed in his address that Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had told him that if he had not intervened, 35 million people would have been killed during India’s Operation Sindoor last year. This statement of Trump clearly indicates that Pakistan is on the backfoot during the four-day military conflict against India in May 2025.
The US President said in his address, ‘In my first 10 months, I stopped eight wars, including Cambodia and Thailand, this is not a joke. There could have been a nuclear war between Pakistan and India. The Prime Minister of Pakistan told me that if I had not intervened, 35 million people would have died. Trump made these claims while boasting of his achievements during the first ‘State of the Union Address’ of his second term.
Trump claimed to stop these 8 wars
The wars that Donald Trump has claimed to resolve include – conflicts between Israel and Hamas, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, India and Pakistan, Serbia and Kosovo, Rwanda and Congo, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Cambodia and Thailand.
India rejected Trump’s claim every time
However, India has repeatedly rejected Trump’s claims of playing a role in establishing a ceasefire between the two countries during the four-day conflict with Pakistan. When asked about Trump’s role in stopping the conflict, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar quipped and denied it. India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri also rejected any third party interference in the ceasefire.
