Had one-sided love for Aarti
According to the villagers, Deenbandhu was in one-sided love with Aarti for two years. His house is near the victim’s house. He had earlier also opposed the marriage and threatened, “If not mine, then not anyone else’s.” When the family married, he took revenge. However, Aarti’s family did not take Deenbandhu’s threat seriously and fixed her marriage elsewhere. Due to which Deenbandhu became enraged and shot Aarti on the wedding day.
