Later, he also appeared in some ad films and music videos, but his real entry into the film world was in 2003.

In ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ released in 2024, Shahid was seen in the role of a scientist who falls in love with a robot. This unique blend of romance and science-fiction was liked very much by the audience and the film was a hit.
