Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) lawmaker Palwasha Mohammad Zai Khan moved the condemnation motion on Wednesday against Israel’s policies and actions on behalf of all political parties. It should be noted that the PPP is an integral part of the coalition government led by Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Pakistan has opposed Netanyahu’s call to form a ‘hexagon’ in this condemnation proposal. “Such indecent mentality of the Prime Minister of Israel highlights the tendency to undermine the unity and integrity of the Muslim world,” the resolution said.

As reported by The Express Tribune, the resolution criticized any attempt to change the legal or historical status of the territory, including the holy sites of Palestine. The resolution reads, “Pakistan strongly opposes such statements that violate regional stability and international law.”
