Pakistani Fans Are Abusing Salman Agha’s Son And Wife After The Defeat To England

The pressure on the Pakistan team has increased after the defeat against England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. Meanwhile, the family of team captain Salman Ali Aga is allegedly being harassed by abusing on social media. Salman Aga’s wife Sabbah Manzar has alleged that some Pakistani fans abused her and their innocent son.

After the defeat in the Super 8 match against England, Pakistan’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals are hanging in the balance. The team had already managed to score only one point in its opening match of the Super 8 against New Zealand when the match was abandoned due to rain. After this, the defeat against England has made the equations more difficult. Now Pakistan has only one point in its account and the last match against Sri Lanka is left.

After the defeat, Salman Ali Aga was also criticized for his captaincy. Some angry fans on social media reportedly started taking out their anger on his family. Sabba Manzar gave a sharp reaction via Instagram story. He wrote, “Pakistani fans, you will not be able to win the World Cup by abusing me or my innocent son.”

His statement has sparked a new debate on the issue of online behavior and targeting of players’ families.

If we look at the situation of the tournament, Pakistan’s semi-final hopes are not completely over yet, but the situation has become very difficult. The team will have to win at any cost against Sri Lanka in its last match of Super 8. Along with this, the results of other teams will also need to be in Pakistan’s favor.

Another defeat or unfavorable result could knock Pakistan out of the tournament. In such a situation, the pressure on the team is at its peak, while the captain and his family are facing criticism and alleged abuse on social media. This episode once again shows how emotions can run wild between wins and losses in sports, but targeting players’ families is considered outside the scope of sportsmanship.
