Mumbai: A day before their much-awaited wedding, actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna sent fans into a frenzy as pictures from their Haldi and Sangeet ceremonies surfaced online, offering heartwarming glimpses of their ‘pure love’.
The sangeet ceremony took place on Tuesday evening, in the presence of their near and dear ones at Udaipur.
The pictures, which surfaced online on Wednesday, showcased stunning décor with bright lights and fresh flowers.
There were also several unseen photographs the couple had taken together over the years, adding a romantic and personal touch to the celebrations.
Reacting to the pictures, a fan wrote, “Countless Beautiful pictures.”
Another wrote, “We need those original pictures @iamRashmika please.”
Several others commented on the post with heart emojis.
Besides the cute pictures, a video from the event is also circulating on social media.
In the video, Vijay’s mother Madhavi can be heard saying, “Hello friends. I dedicate this beautiful surprise performance to my darlings, bangaram Vijay, Rushee. We love you.”
Sharing the video on social media, one wrote, “This speech hits different.”
While another wrote, “this is love.”
Vijay and Rashmika’s pre-wedding festivities kicked off with the ‘Virosh Premier League’ games and the sangeet ceremony, with the haldi and mehendi ceremonies scheduled for Wednesday.
Stylist Shyavya Varma shared pictures of herself, director-actor Tharun Bhascker, actor Eesha Rebba, and a few other guests, all dressed in yellow, and ready for the haldi ceremony.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, the couple will be tying the knot on February 26 at 8 am.
Following the intimate wedding in Udaipur, they will host a grand reception in Hyderabad for industry friends.
