Kal Ka Mausam: There will be heavy rain in these parts of the country tomorrow, see forecast

Kal Ka Mausam: The weather patterns in North India are going to change once again. While the temperature is rising rapidly in some states, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in many areas. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be strong winds along with rain in three states of North India in the coming days, due to which the cold is likely to increase in the morning. An alert has also been issued for snowfall in the hilly states.

Chance of rain and snowfall in these states

There may be light rain and snowfall in higher reaches in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between February 26 and 28. At the same time, in Telangana and Karnataka of South India, there is a possibility of rain and strong winds at the speed of 30-40 km per hour on 26 February.

Light to moderate rain, thunder and strong winds are expected in Andaman and Nicobar on February 26.

The effect of fog still persists

Although the cold has subsided in the plains, there has been a warning of dense fog in the morning in many districts of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal. This may affect traffic.

Chances of increase in temperature

Maximum temperatures may rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the plains of northwest and central India in the next seven days. After March 4, the temperature in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar is likely to cross 35 degrees Celsius.

Delhi weather

There is no possibility of rain in Delhi. The maximum temperature is expected to be 29 degrees and minimum 14 degrees Celsius. Light winds will blow in the morning, which may provide some relief from pollution.

Heat will increase in UP and Bihar

There is currently no rain alert in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, but a continuous rise in temperature will be recorded. The maximum temperature in Lucknow and Patna may remain around 29 degrees.

Alert in Uttarakhand and Himachal

There is a possibility of rain in many districts of Uttarakhand including Dehradun, Nainital and Chamoli on February 27. There may also be rain in Shimla, Mandi and Kangra of Himachal Pradesh and snowfall in higher altitude areas like Manali.

Effect of heat in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

The temperature in Rajasthan can reach 38 degrees Celsius after March 4. The maximum temperature in Jaipur is likely to be 30 degrees. In many districts of Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal, Indore and Gwalior, the temperature may cross 35 degrees Celsius.

Stirring in Tamil Nadu too

Light to moderate rain is forecast in many districts including Tamil Nadu’s capital Chennai till March 1. Despite the weakening of the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, changes in the weather will continue due to marine moisture.
