Brandon King’s Personal Life

Brandon King grew into international cricket after a big breakthrough in the Caribbean Premier League. In 2019, he smashed a 59-ball century and also made 132 not out off 72 balls, which is still the highest individual score in CPL history. That performance made him a well-known name in West Indies cricket and helped him get called into the national white-ball team.

King has always admired West Indies legend Ramnaresh Sarwan, which is why he wears jersey number 53. He wants to play with a similar style – building innings calmly and finishing matches. He has focused on strengthening his ability to counter spin bowling, which was regarded as a weakness in his early career.

He is regarded as a patient batter who would rather play deep into the game than take chances early. He has stated that helping the West Indies win games is more important to him than concentrating on reaching personal goals. He also respects senior players like Kieron Pollard, who supported him and other young players during tough stages of their careers.

Brandon King Contract

Brandon King received a multi-year central contract from Cricket West Indies starting October 1, 2024, and running until September 30, 2026. He is among six West Indies men’s players given two-year contracts.
