CTET February 2026 Paper-2 Re-Exam 1st March Bihar

CBSE has announced the re-exam date of Paper-2 of CTET February 2026 session. The examination, which was canceled due to administrative reasons at some centers in Vaishali district of Bihar, will now be held again on March 1, 2026. This exam will be held only for the affected candidates and no one will get admission without the new admit card.

CTET Re-Exam 2026: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-2 examination of February 2026 session will be re-conducted on March 1, 2026 at the affected centers in Vaishali district of Bihar. CBSE has taken this decision for those candidates whose examination was canceled due to administrative reasons. The examination centers include Lakshya Academy, St. John’s Academy and Patepur. New admit card will be issued to the candidates and this is the last chance, so everyone is required to reach the exam center on time.

Announcement and reason for re-exam

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-2 examination in the February 2026 session was canceled due to administrative reasons at some centers in Vaishali district of Bihar. CBSE has decided to re-conduct this examination in the interest of the affected candidates. The board clarified that the re-exam will be held only for those candidates whose examination could not be completed at the earlier centres.

The 21st edition of CTET held on February 7 included both Paper-1 and Paper-2. However, Paper-2 remained incomplete at some centres, due to which hundreds of candidates could not appear for the exam. After this CBSE announced re-exam.

Center and date information

CBSE said the affected centers include Lakshya Academy, Bardiha, Patepur, Vaishali (Hajipur) and St. John’s Academy, Basmati Nagar, Keshopur, Post Office Baluka Ram. The examination had to be canceled due to administrative disruptions at these centres.

Now re-examination of CTET Paper-2 will be held at these centers on Sunday, March 1, 2026. The board clarified that there will be no change in the date or center of the exam. This will be only for the affected candidates and no other candidates will be allowed to participate in it.

Admit Card and Preparation

A new admit card will be issued for the candidates appearing in the re-exam. Candidates have been advised to visit the official website ctet.nic.in and download their revised admit card in time. Without new admit card, entry into the examination center will not be allowed.

CBSE also said that this is the last chance, so all the candidates should reach the examination center on the scheduled time and date. The board ensured that no such requests would be entertained.
