When they start crackling, add finely chopped garlic or ginger paste. Fry the onions: Now add chopped onions to the pan. Fry the onion until it turns light pink (do not brown it too much, a slight crunch should remain). Add the spices: add turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
