Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Specifications: The wait for tech lovers around the world is finally over. South Korean giant Samsung has officially launched Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in its mega event Galaxy Unpacked. Along with this, the company also introduced Samsung Galaxy S26 and Samsung Galaxy S26+.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to be the company’s most powerful flagship yet, with an upgraded chipset, ‘intuitive Galaxy AI’ Features and the world’s first inbuilt privacy display.
Price, availability and color options
The starting price of Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has been kept at ₹ 1,39,999 for the 256GB variant. The 512GB model will be available for ₹1,59,999, while the price of 1TB variant has been fixed at ₹1,89,999. Pre-orders have started from 25th February. This smartphone will be available in Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue colors. Whereas Pink Gold and Silver Shadow colors have been kept exclusive only for those purchasing on Samsung’s official website. Buyers can also opt for Samsung Care+, which includes accidental damage repair, extended warranty and expert support in India and abroad.

World’s first built-in privacy display
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the world’s first smartphone with built-in privacy display. According to the company, this technology is a unique combination of hardware and software, which controls the light at the pixel level to blur the screen from side angles, while the user looking from the front gets a clear visual. Users can decide when this feature is activated, such as when entering a PIN or opening a specific app. It has two modes:
- Partial Screen Privacy
- Maximum Privacy Protection
This feature works in both portrait and landscape modes and has very little impact on battery.
Powerful processor and cooling system
This smartphone has Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which has been customized for special Galaxy devices. The company claims that CPU performance has improved by 19%, NPU by 39% and GPU by 24%. New Vapor Chamber design and thermal material has been installed for better cooling.
200MP camera and super night video
Quad camera setup is available in Galaxy S26 Ultra:
- 200MP primary sensor
- 50MP ultra-wide
- 50MP telephoto (5x optical zoom)
- 10MP additional sensor
Enhanced Nightography Video and Super Steady mode has been provided in video recording.

5,000mAh battery and Super Fast Charging 3.0
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 60W wired and 20W wireless charging. According to the company, with Super Fast Charging 3.0 technology, the phone can be charged up to 75% in just 30 minutes.
