UP Assembly Elections 2027: BSP reveals its cards, Ashish Pandey declared candidate from this seat, Brahmin candidates on 40 to 50 seats
Lucknow. After the UGC issue, the interference of the Brahmin community has suddenly increased in the politics of the state regarding the UP Assembly Elections 2027, due to which political parties, especially the opposition parties, are taking special action against it. At present, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has made a big move to gain control over this community. Under the direction of Mayawati, officials have also started working on this formula. It has been decided that BSP can field Brahmin candidates on 40 to 50 seats in UP. It has also started from Madhogarh seat of Jalaun.

It is being told that a panel of four contenders for each assembly seat is being formed and they are being tested on the criteria. One of them will first be declared the assembly constituency in-charge and later the candidate. After making him in-charge, BSP will hold a big conference in the same assembly constituency to declare him as the candidate. Talking about Kanpur division alone, there are a total of 27 assembly seats here. At present BSP does not have a single MLA here.

Talking about the entire state, out of 403 assembly seats in the state, Umashankar Singh is the only BSP MLA from Rasra seat of Ballia. After Holi, in-charges can be announced for about 10 seats of Kanpur Division. This time the BSP wants to hold on to most of the seats, which is why it has reshuffled the organization to finalize the names of assembly in-charges. Senior party leader Naishad Ali has been made the head of Kanpur division including Agra, Meerut and Lucknow divisions.

On Tuesday too, Naushad Ali had long talks with BSP chief Mayawati in Lucknow regarding the organization and the upcoming assembly elections. He told that soon he will hold a meeting with the officials of Kanpur division. There is a possibility that soon after Holi, in-charges will be announced for many assembly seats in Kanpur division.
Party working on Brahmin, Muslim, Dalit alliance
In view of the upcoming assembly elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has prepared the parameters of the organization and candidates. A plan has been made to work by connecting Brahmins in the electoral arena and Muslims through organization. For this, the party will also take its cadre votes along with it.
This is the reason why BSP chief has made Naushad Ali the head of four divisions of the state, Kanpur, Agra, Meerut and Lucknow. It is being told that the party will also field backward classes in the elections. The party believes that BSP’s cadre vote will work on the remaining reserved seats.

National President and former Chief Minister Mayawati has declared Ashish Pandey in-charge for Madhogarh seat of Jalaun.
