Wang Xiaofei, the former husband of late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, welcomed a son with his Taiwanese influencer wife Mandy Ma on Monday.
Zhang Lan, Wang’s mother, shared the news during a livestream on Weibo, local outlet QQ said.
“Since last year when I heard that Ma was pregnant, I had been hoping to meet the child soon and I finally got to do so. I can’t keep my hands off him and carried him for the whole night,” she said.
She nicknamed the child Xiao Bao Ma, Chinese for “little precious horse,” according to AsiaOne.

Wang and Hsu divorced in 2021 after 10 years together, and he wed Ma three years later.
They announced the pregnancy in Nov. 2025 and said the due date was in late February.
During the Lunar New Year, Ma visited Beijing to see her family and later traveled to Guangzhou Province with her husband’s family. She returned to Taiwan overnight after feeling unwell to prepare for childbirth.
Ma is reportedly a businesswoman who was previously married and divorced several years ago. She keeps a low profile and rarely shares details about her private life on social media.
She has been praised online for her close relationship with Wang’s two children from his previous marriage to Hsu.
Wang, 45, is known as one of Beijing’s “Four Young Masters,” a term for the sons of four prominent entrepreneurs. His mother Zhang is a successful restaurateur and founder of the high-end South Beauty chain, according to The Straits Times.
