District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram told a news agency about the preparations made for the upcoming festivals, “Chaitra Navratri is starting from March 19. Ram Navami will be celebrated on March 27. Since this is the birthplace of Lord Ram, a large number of devotees from both local and foreign areas come here for darshan and the doors of the temple also remain open throughout the day. A meeting is also being held with the officials along with the officials of the Trust for the preparations for the upcoming festivals. Was done.
He told that on March 19, President Draupadi Murmu will also visit Ayodhya and in such a situation, security arrangements will be further strengthened for her arrival. We have 1 month’s time and meetings are being held in this regard. Since the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, a huge crowd of devotees is being seen every year. Every year a crowd of 4-5 crore people reach Ayodhya to visit Ram temple and surrounding temples.
In such a situation, there is a possibility of a huge crowd of devotees arriving on the occasion of Ram Navami. Keeping in mind the crowd of devotees and their safety, the administration and the temple administration are jointly planning for easy darshan of the devotees. On the other hand, on the first day of Navratri, President Draupadi Murmu will reach Ayodhya for darshan and the crowd of devotees may also increase on the first day. In such a situation, a decision will also be taken to increase the security of Ayodhya and Ram temple.
