3. ‘Good news’ for passengers: Holi special trains

Railways to compensate for canceled trains 1 March 2026 It has been decided to run several special trains from:

Dadar – Gorakhpur (01027/28): It will run 4 days a week.

Dadar – Ballia (01025/26): It will run 3 days a week.

Malda Town – Anand Vihar (03435/36): Special trips from 2nd and 3rd March.

Mumbai Central – Kathihar (09189/90): Weekly special train.

What should travelers do?

NTES App: Check live status of your train on National Train Inquiry System (NTES).

Refund: If your train is cancelled, your full refund will be automatically credited to your account by IRCTC.

Alternative: Try to book immediately in ‘Holi Special’ trains due to heavy crowd.
