NamiTech provides AI translation support at Nikkei Digital Forum in Asia 2026

The forum, held on Feb. 25 at InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72, brought together more than 250 delegates, including policymakers, business executives and industry representatives from Vietnam, Japan and other regional markets. Under the theme “New economic growth and next-generation power,” participants discussed digital transformation, innovation and sustainable development.

During the event, Nami Intelligence was used to capture spoken content, transcribe discussions and provide real-time Vietnamese-Japanese translation. The system displayed bilingual subtitles on event screens and generated summarized meeting reports after sessions concluded.

According to the developer, the platform is designed to operate on local networks without requiring an internet connection, a feature intended to support data privacy in sensitive discussions.

“Before deploying at the Nikkei Forum, our engineering team rigorously tested Nami Intelligence across high-security government meetings and large-scale corporate summits,” said Lam Nguyen, CEO of NamiTech. “The platform consistently demonstrated an exceptional ability to not only translate but to securely capture, structure, and synthesize complex meeting data in real time. Seeing it perform flawlessly under the pressure of dynamic international events validates years of our deep tech research.”

The company said the technology forms part of its broader portfolio of voice artificial intelligence solutions aimed at analyzing and structuring conversational data used by enterprises.

In addition to providing translation infrastructure, NamiTech participated in the forum’s program through a presentation and panel discussion on emerging technologies and startups. The panel was moderated by Naoki Hasegawa of Nikkei Business Publications and included representatives from Alterno and JETRO Hanoi. Demonstrations of the company’s voice technologies were also conducted at an exhibition booth during the event.
