Youth murdered by beheading in money transaction, accused friend in custody
Noida. On Thursday, the police found a bloody body of a person in a drain near Sector 64 of Police Station Phase-3 area. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. According to the police, his partner murdered him due to money transaction.
Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh’s media in-charge said that on February 26, the police received information that the body of a person was lying in a drain in Sector 64. He said that based on the information, the police reached the spot and investigated and found out that the name of the deceased was Rahul, age 35 years. He said that during the investigation, the police came to know that Rahul used to sleep on the footpath and he had a fight with Ravindra, who was also sleeping on the footpath, over money transactions.
Ravindra seriously injured Rahul by throwing a stone on his head and threw him into the drain. He died in this incident. He said that the police have taken the accused Ravindra son of Banwari Singh, resident of Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, into custody and started interrogation. He said that the police reached the spot and are investigating the matter keeping all the aspects in mind.
