Rashmika-Vijay Wedding: : Rashmika Mandanna The news of the marriage of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda has filled the entire country with happiness today. These two are one of the most popular couples of South Indian cinema, whom fans fondly call “VIROSH” (Vijay + Rashmika). Today i.e. on 26 February 2026, they got married in a private and intimate ceremony at the very beautiful and luxury hotel ITC Mementos in Udaipur. This marriage was not just a union of two hearts, but was also a beautiful fusion of two different cultures, Telugu and Kodava (Coorg) traditions.
Rashmika and Vijay’s love story is quite long and romantic. Both of them met on the sets of the film ‘Geeta Govindam’, where their chemistry won the hearts of the audience. After the film, their friendship gradually turned into love. There were rumors many times, but finally in 2025 they confirmed the relationship and then wedding planning started. This marriage was like a dream come true for the fans.
Rashmika’s look was worth seeing. She chose clothes from the bridal atelier of famous designer Anamika Khanna. Her saree was deep rust-red silk with a thick red border and antique gold work. There was very fine hand embroidery on the saree. The sanctum sanctorum of the temples features motifs, spiritual geometric patterns and antique gold thread work. This saree is a perfect blend of devotion, richness and craftsmanship. Rashmika’s look was handled by stylist Ami Patel. She wore heavy gold jewelery like traditional necklace, bangles, earrings and maang tikka on the forehead which gives a classic look of a Telugu bride. The garland of flowers and vermilion in her hair made her beautiful like a goddess. Fans are saying that she looked like Shiva-Parvati or Ram-Sita.
Vijay was also no less. She wore Anamika Khanna’s outfit only. Ivory (off-white/ivory) colored dhoti and vermillion (reddish-saffron) angavastram. The angavastram had intricate embroidery inspired by forests and temples. Which showed strength, family tradition and sacred architecture. This look celebrated the age-old textile traditions of Hyderabad and the strength of the Vansingharam weave. Vijay had alta on his hands, which was giving a traditional touch. His entire look reflected Deccan masculinity, simple yet powerful.
After marriage, both of them shared their first pictures on social media. Vijay wrote in the caption that ‘I have made my best friend my wife’ which became quite viral.
