For National Unity The Number Of Madrasas Should Be Gradually Reduced Sanjay Nirupam
Sanjay Nirupam said, “Schools and colleges, especially at the primary and secondary levels, are designed to enable all students to join the mainstream of the country, but the education given in madrassas focuses more on religious teachings, which alienates students from India.”
Nirupam argued that the number of madrassas should be gradually reduced to ensure that children remain part of the mainstream, love the country and participate in the governance system.
Apart from this, Sanjay Nirupam, referring to student leader Umar Khalid, said that such youth often indulge in such activities in the name of freedom of expression and promoting certain ideologies which give rise to anti-national sentiments.
He also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Nirupam alleges that while emphasizing his points, Rahul Gandhi is often seen compromising with the interest of the country. When a leader compromises or appears to compromise the interest of the country, he may gradually get involved in anti-national activities, as seen in the cases of Umar Khalid.
He said that a few days ago people were found offering Namaz in the Malegaon Municipal Corporation office, but Namaz should not be offered in government offices. Even if this has to be done, there is a provision for a special permission for that. If those people feel that the laws of the country do not apply there, then it is completely wrong.
