A day earlier, Delhi Police arrested 3 more Youth Congress workers from Himachal Pradesh in connection with the shirtless protest at the AI Impact Summit organized in Delhi. But there was an uproar in Himachal Pradesh regarding his arrest. When Delhi Police was bringing him, Shimla Police stopped him on the way. There was tremendous drama between the two police forces. After about 21 hours of dramatic events, the matter calmed down around 6 am on Thursday. Then the police could leave for Delhi with the accused.

Along with Himachal Pradesh and Delhi, Haryana Police was also involved in this entire incident. In the statement issued by Himachal Police, it was said that along with Delhi, Haryana Police team was also involved in the arrest of 3 people. Police of two states chased three people and took them into custody in connection with a case registered in Delhi.

At present, after the Himachal Pradesh Police had stopped the Delhi Police several times in the last 21 hours, the convoy of Delhi Police finally left Himachal early in the morning and after coming out of the state border, entered the border of Punjab. After entering the Punjab border, the Delhi Police team filled the vehicles with oil. After this, Delhi Police conducted medical test of the three arrested accused (Saurabh Singh, Arbaaz Khan and Siddharth) in Ambala Hospital, Haryana.

Who are these three arrested accused?

These three accused are workers of Indian Youth Congress (IYC). In the AI Summit protest case in Delhi, these three were arrested by Delhi Police from near Shimla. Saurabh Singh is a resident of Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. He is an active worker of the youth team of Congress Party in Amethi and is a resident of Sewai Hemgarh of Munshiganj police station area here.

Apart from Saurabh Singh, the arrested Arbaaz Khan is a resident of Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He is associated with Indian Youth Congress. He is also associated with the youth wing of Congress and is the Vice President of Central UP Zone of Youth Congress. Before this, Arbaaz had been the former general secretary of Youth Congress in Uttar Pradesh. The third accused arrested, Siddharth, is a resident of Madhya Pradesh and is associated with the Indian Youth Congress.

Shimla Police has seized a vehicle of Delhi Police in connection with the shirtless protest conducted by Youth Congress at the AI Impact Summit in Delhi. The police stopped the Delhi team midway on NH 5 and asked them to join their investigation in connection with the FIR lodged by Shimla Police in the case. After several hours of struggle, Delhi Police was able to leave for Delhi with the accused.
