Bennett’s innings went in vain in Chennai
Talking about the run chase, Zimbabwe started their innings with Brian Bennett and Tadivanashe Marumani. Bennett played a brilliant innings, while Marumani also scored 20 runs on the same number of balls. Dion Myers added six runs on the board, while Sikandar Raza scored 31 runs off 21 balls.
Ryan Burl was out without opening the account, but Bennett stood firm and scored 97* runs in 59 balls. However, his innings went in vain, because none of the other batsmen could do anything special.
