Yash’s film ‘Toxic’ seals big deal in Tamil, creates new history
Yash Toxic Movie: A big deal has been finalized in Tamil Nadu box office. Yes, the Tamil Nadu distribution deal of Rocking Star Yash’s film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups has been locked on commission basis at Rs 63 crore advance. This is considered to be one of the biggest distribution deals in the state in recent years. This film, which was already in the news, is now being counted among the biggest upcoming releases of Tamil Nadu.
Release with multi-distributor strategy
The film will be released across Tamil Nadu under a well-planned multi-distributor model, so that a strong hold can be achieved in every circuit. Chennai City will be distributed by Swaroop Reddy of Think Studios. The responsibility of Chengalpattu area will be with Trident Ravi of White Knights. Coimbatore, North and South Arcot, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari circuits will be under S Picture Srinivasan. Major circuits like Madurai-Ramnad, Trichy-Thanjavur and Salem will be managed by 5 Star Senthil. This territorial model will ensure a wide and strong presence of the film from single screen to multiplex chains.

The story of the film has been written jointly by Yash and director Geetu Mohandas, while the direction has also been done by Geetu Mohandas. ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups’ has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. Apart from this, dubbed versions will also be released in many languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Made under the banner of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, this film will be released in theaters worldwide on March 19, 2026. Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasant and Tara Sutaria will be seen in important roles in the film.
