News India Live, Digital Desk: A major development has come to light in the ‘Cash Scandal’ case related to former Allahabad High Court judge and current Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Verma. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has reconstituted the special ‘Inquiry Committee’ formed to investigate the corruption allegations against Justice Verma. After this change, now the layers of the case will be investigated under the supervision of new members.

Why was the form of the inquiry committee changed?

After these allegations related to ‘cash for verdict’ or corruption, there was a demand for impeachment against him. According to the Indian Constitution, the process of removing a judge is extremely complex and requires the approval of Parliament as well as an inquiry by a judicial committee.
