Afghanistan started war against Pakistan! Claim of capture of 15 border posts and killing of many soldiers

Kabul, 27 February. Once again a fierce fight has broken out between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Afghan border forces have launched this retaliatory action in the eastern provinces in response to the air strikes carried out by the Pakistani Army. Giving this information, the spokesperson of Afghanistan’s military unit 201 Khalid Bin Waleed Corps has claimed that it has captured 15 border posts of Pakistan, killed many Pakistani soldiers while some have been captured alive.

Campaign started in response to Pakistan’s airstrike

According to the spokesperson, this action started directly after Pakistan’s airstrike, after which tension in the border areas has increased rapidly. Taliban spokesperson claimed that Afghan Taliban has started a large-scale military operation along the border with Pakistan.

Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said in a social media post, ‘A large number of laser-equipped units deployed on the Durand Line have also started operations and using the darkness of the night, they will target all moving enemy personnel and send them to hell, Inshallah.’

Clashes continue on various parts of Durand Line

Afghanistan has launched retaliatory attacks targeting Pakistani border posts and this action is continuing simultaneously in many areas. According to the Taliban’s military unit, counter-operations by the forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan against the Pakistani army have been started in various parts of the Durand Line.

According to Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, ‘A large-scale military operation has been launched along the disputed Durand Line in response to repeated provocations and violations by Pakistani military forces.’

Khost, Fighting started in Paktia and Nuristan

The Afghan Defense Ministry informed that action is being taken against the Pakistani army in several other areas including Khost, Paktia and Nuristan provinces. The ministry says that the ongoing operations in these parts of the border are in response to the military activities carried out by Pakistan. At present, clashes are going on at many places and the situation on the border remains tense.

Dozens of Afghan civilians killed in Pakistani attacks

Although there is no clear information on the number of casualties or the scale of the fighting, the rhetoric suggests that this is not just a small border skirmish but a major military response. According to Afghan officials, dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed in an airstrike by the Pakistani Army in two Afghan provinces bordering Pakistan on Sunday. These attacks were carried out in areas of Nangarhar and Paktika provinces, which Pakistan has described as action against militant hideouts.
