Kabul: Afghanistan’s Taliban army has taken strict action in response to Pakistani air strikes. Afghan military officers say that they have started attacks against Pakistan. In response to this, ‘heavy clashes’ have started.

Afghan Army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan
However, there was no immediate confirmation from Pakistan nor was there any information about casualties. Last Sunday, Pakistan’s military carried out strikes across the border with Afghanistan and claimed to have killed at least 70 terrorists. Afghanistan rejected this claim, saying that dozens of its citizens, including women and children, had been killed. Now Afghanistan has given its answer.

Pakistan accused Afghan Taliban
Earlier, on Tuesday, Pakistan accused the Afghan Taliban of ‘unprovoked firing’ on the border and warned of giving a strong response to any such further attack. This firing took place after Pakistan launched air strikes on alleged terrorist targets following the recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

Firing from both sides on Pakistan-Afghanistan border
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s spokesman, Mosharraf Zaidi, said in a post that the Afghan Taliban regime has initiated unprovoked firing along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Torkham and Tirah sub-regions. Pakistan’s security forces immediately responded to the firing and quelled the Taliban aggression.

There was a conflict on the border last October also
In October last year, there was an armed conflict between the two sides. According to the Pakistani Army, 23 Pakistani soldiers and more than 200 Afghan Taliban soldiers were killed. After which ceasefire was agreed upon.
