Case of comments on Hindu Gods and Goddesses: Lookout notice issued against YouTuber Anvesh

Hyderabad. capital of telangana Hyderabad Police has taken strict action in the case of controversial statement related to religious sentiments. Panjagutta police station has issued a lookout notice against YouTuber Anvesh. This action has been taken in a case related to alleged objectionable comments on Hindu deities.

According to the police, a case was registered against Anvesh in December 2025 on the complaint of actress and BJP leader Karate Kalyani. The complaint alleged that he made derogatory and inflammatory comments against Hindu society, religious beliefs, revered deities, culture and traditions, which was likely to inflame communal tension.

Investigating officials say that this dispute started after a video. In the video, Anvesh had criticized Telugu actor Sivaji for the dressing of the actresses. During this time, he also commented about mythological characters Sita and Draupadi, on which various organizations protested.

Police officials said that on the basis of the complaint, a case was registered and investigation was started. Currently, information has been received that Anvesh is out of the country, due to which a lookout notice has been issued to track his location and ensure necessary legal action upon his return to India.

Police say that the investigation of the case is ongoing and the available digital evidence is being examined. Further legal action will be taken if necessary.
