He breathed his last at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida. He was suffering from stage-4 liver cancer for a long time. In recent times, his health had suddenly deteriorated, after which he was admitted to the hospital. He was undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors, but despite all efforts he could not be saved.
Khanchandra Singh was on mechanical ventilator support for several days. His condition remained critical and he was also being given continuous renal replacement therapy. This time was very difficult for the family. As soon as it was reported that his father’s condition was becoming critical, Rinku Singh had to leave the national team and immediately return home.

Actually, at that time Team India was busy preparing for the ICC T20 World Cup. A practice session was going on at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, but Rinku did not participate in it. After his sudden absence, the news came out that his father was battling between life and death. 28-year-old Rinku Singh is a resident of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and is counted among the important players of Team India. His return home had increased the concerns of fans and team management.

In the press conference on Wednesday, Indian team’s batting coach Sitanshu Kotak had informed that Rinku’s father’s health is serious, so he has gone home and is expected to join the team soon. However, now after the sad news of father’s demise, it is not clear whether Rinku will be able to be a part of the team in the future matches or not. At present, the entire cricket world is standing with his family in this difficult time.
