Kejriwal Is Crying Friend Where Are You Arvind Kejriwal’s Emotional Moment Goes Viral
Soon after the big relief order in the Delhi Excise Policy case, an emotional moment of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal went viral on social media. New Delhi-based Rouse Avenue Court discharged all the 23 accused, after which Kejriwal became emotional while addressing the media outside the court premises.
The court said in its order that sufficient evidence of any widespread conspiracy or criminal intent was not found in the formulation of the Delhi Excise Policy 2021–22. The case was registered in August 2022 following a complaint by Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, accusing the Aam Aadmi Party government of causing financial loss and giving benefits to private players.
While talking to the media after the verdict, Kejriwal said, “I am not corrupt. The court has said that Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia are staunchly honest.” Saying this, his voice became choked and Kejriwal started crying. Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who was present with him, took care of him.
Journalist’s audio went viral
However, the most talked about incident in this incident is the audio clip in which a journalist was heard saying to his cameraman, “Kejriwal is crying, man… where are you?” During this, Kejriwal was wiping his tears and the channel’s camera could not capture that moment.

Special Judge (PC Act) Jitendra Singh, while pronouncing the order, also commented on the investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The court said that the investigation appears to be based on speculations and an alleged narrative rather than concrete evidence. Additionally, excessive reliance on the statements of a government witness (approver) who was a former accused was also suspected to be a violation of constitutional principles.
Apart from Kejriwal and Sisodia, Other accused including Kavitha, Vijay Nair, Abhishek Boinpalli, Arun Ramachandra Pillai, Durgesh Pathak were also given relief. After this decision of the court, a wide discussion has started in political and legal circles, while Kejriwal’s emotional moment and the journalist’s unknowingly recorded comment have become a new topic of debate on social media.
