Ravi said, “I was shooting Guerrilla in Lucknow for about a year before the film was locked. In one scene, I was riding a bike and my heroine was sitting on the back. When the director said ‘cut’, we waited for further instructions. Then I looked back and saw the Laxmanji temple there.”

The actor added, “I never knew that there was such a temple. Then I realized that Lucknow used to be called ‘Lakshmanpuri’. According to the story, Lord Rama had given this place to Lakshmana. I wanted to visit the temple. I went inside and saw the trinity of Rama, Sita and Lakshmana, prayed and took a picture of that moment.” Interestingly, in the serial he was shooting at that time, his character’s name was ‘Lakhan’, and the show was also called ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’.

Ravi said, “It was all a wonderful coincidence. And when I got the news that I was officially selected for the film, that photo from the temple flashed before my eyes. I realized that I had completely forgotten about this incident. Exactly almost a year later, I got the role of Laxman after seeing the same temple.”
