Taliban dropped bomb on Islamabad for the first time, targeted Pakistani army base with explosive drone

Islamabad, 27 February. After the attack on Kabul by Pakistani fighter jet, the Taliban army has now claimed to carry out a strong air strike in Islamabad. Afghan media says that this attack has been carried out through explosive drones.

Air attack in Jamrud and Abbottabad also

Afghanistan’s Defense Ministry said in a statement that the Afghan Air Force attacked an army base in Faisalabad, Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, at 11 am. Apart from this, air strikes have also been carried out in Jamrud and Abbottabad.

This is the first time that Taliban has carried out an airstrike on Islamabad. A video of this incident is also being shared on social media. The Taliban Defense Ministry said in its latest statement that the air operation has been successfully carried out. The Taliban army said that Pakistani army centers and military bases have been targeted in this air strike. This attack has been carried out in response to continuous air strikes by Pakistani Air Force.

Earlier, the Pakistani Air Force had claimed to have destroyed many bases of Taliban army by carrying out several attacks in Kabul, Kandahar and Paktia. At the same time, fierce fighting is going on on the border line Durand Line.

Taliban has claimed to have killed more than 55 Pakistani soldiers. Taliban carried out drone attack on Pakistan Army Academy in Abbottabad. Taliban has also released videos of these drone attacks. Meanwhile, according to Tolo News, Pakistani Army has targeted a hospital in Torkham.

Afghan media says that this is the first time that a Taliban drone reached Pakistan’s capital Islamabad and Asim Munir’s army failed to stop it. An eyewitness told in the viral video that this drone attack was carried out in the Pakistani Army area. After this attack a very loud sound came. Taliban are also sharing pictures of drones on social media. According to Afghan media, the Taliban army has also targeted Pakistani posts with heavy weapons in three districts of Khost province on the Durand Line. This attack is still continuing.

Pakistani Defense Minister had threatened

Earlier, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif had said, ‘The patience of our country has now given way and now the situation has become an open war against Afghanistan.’ His statement came after the retaliatory action of both the countries after the cross-border attack by Afghanistan.

The Defense Minister said, ‘Pakistan hoped that after the withdrawal of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) forces, peace would be established in Afghanistan and the Taliban would focus on the welfare of the people of Afghanistan and stability in the region….’ At present, the ceasefire brokered by Qatar seems to be weakening due to the intensified attacks between neighboring countries. However, the Pakistani Defense Minister did not make any mention of the ceasefire in his statement.
